Step onto a working 1860s farm. Pick heirloom vegetables from the garden, visit the farmhands and animals at the barn, or churn butter and see what's cooking in the farmhouse. Costumed guides work the fields with oxen and horses.
Established in 1859, the fully restored Little Stone Church in Ottawa is one of the oldest Methodist churches in Minnesota. Today, it sits on land that was once part of the prairie along the Minnesota River bluffs.
The Otter Tail County Historical Society was organized on July 31, 1927 at a gathering at Amor Park. For decades the society was headquartered in the basement of the county courthouse. In 1972, a capital fund drive resulted in a new museum.
